The attorney representing Rose McGowan in a widely publicized, felony drug possession case entered a not guilty plea on the "Charmed" star's behalf in a Virginia courtroom on Nov. 16. The plea came two days after the 44-year-old actress surrendered herself to authorities in response to an arrest warrant obtained on Feb. 1 by the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority. Airline staff contacted police in January when two packages of white powder were found in a wallet that had been left on a plane. Police say that subsequent toxicology tests established that the substance was cocaine.
Virginia fans of the television show "Shameless" may be interested in learning that Ethan Cutkosky was taken into custody on Nov. 2 for driving under the influence. The 18-year-old was stopped in Burbank, California, after he was seen straddling the lane and driving unsafely at about 10:30 p.m.

The joint investigation was initiated in the weeks prior to the arrest by the Waynesboro Police SWAT and Skyline Drug Task Force. On Oct. 27, news reports indicated that the investigation remained ongoing.
Two Virginia men were taken into custody on Oct. 19 after a Waynesboro Police Department drug squad executed a search warrant in Churchville. The men, who are 36 and 46 years of age, were transported to the Middle River Regional Jail where they were being held without bail. The search was the result of an investigation into methamphetamine distribution in Augusta County.
