Multiple Virginia residents charged with felonies

When dealing with serious criminal charges, each individual facing allegations may benefit from assessing his or her case and thoroughly examining the legal options. Criminal defense strategies may vary for individuals accused of felonies, and information is available for those looking to gain more knowledge on their particular predicaments. Four individuals in Virginia may soon be taking such action.

Reports stated that three men and one woman were taken into custody after allegedly being involved in an arson. Apparently, the fire took place at a home, and one individual was inside at the time. However, no one was injured in the incident. Property inside and below the home was damaged as a result of the fire. It was unclear how or where in the home the fire began.

The residents of the home reportedly informed police who set the fire. However, it was unclear what evidence they may have had to support such claims. Nonetheless, a 20-year-old man, 29-year-old man, 40-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman were charged after an investigation. They are currently facing felony charges relating to arson. One man is also facing gun-related allegations due to purportedly drawing a weapon.

The felonies leveled against these individuals may seem confusing to contend with. If they wish to seek assistance with their charges and cases, exploring their legal options may be wise. Discussing the specific details of their cases with experienced Virginia attorneys could allow them to make the most meaningful decisions regarding their criminal defense presentations moving forward.
