Kim Fernandez is a Northern Virginia native, and graduated from Bishop O’Connell High School in Arlington before earning her BA degree in Public Communication from American University in Washington, DC. She obtained her paralegal certificate, with honors, from the American Institute of Paralegal Studies, and then became a Certified Paralegal through the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA). Kim’s education and experience give her the knowledge and ability to assist our firm in all aspects of our practice. As Office Manager, Kim keeps the office running by serving as the point person for vendors and service providers, and organizing office operations and procedures. She is also our Notary Public. As Paralegal, Kim works closely with clients on a daily basis by addressing their needs, facilitating communication, and providing support as required. She also works closely with our attorneys on all cases by doing research, maintaining schedules and deadlines, drafting documents, organizing and managing files, and helping with trial preparation. She is instrumental in the process of filing for expungements, and follows them through to the final court orders.

Kim and her husband live in Leesburg with their three daughters.
