Virginia criminal defense options may interest accused parties

Though multiple individuals may be taken into custody for being suspected in the same alleged crime, each party may benefit from considering his or her case on an individual basis. Therefore, exploring various criminal defense options may help each person determine the manner in which he or she feels most comfortable moving forward. Additionally, seeking assistance may also be worth considering.

Five individuals in Virginia may be looking into their options after recently being taken into custody. Reports stated that four adults and one juvenile were suspected of having been involved in an alleged robbery. Authorities were called to a residence after multiple individuals had purportedly gone into the home with a firearm, threatened the resident and took electronics. The alleged individuals left the scene before police arrived.

Officers searched the area in which the reported robbery took place, and they took five suspects into custody. Three of the individuals were reported as being 18 years old, and one individual was 21 years old. The fifth person was apparently a juvenile male, and his age was not given. All the suspects are currently facing charges for armed burglary and robbery, conspiracy and using a firearm in commission of a felony.

The charges leveled against them may be difficult for them to understand, and as a result, some or all of the individuals may wish to learn more about the allegations. This information could potentially help the accused adults and parents of the juvenile determine how they each would like to address the charges. Furthermore, discussing possible criminal defense options with experienced Virginia attorneys may also be a wise action to consider.
